Virus the Poet broke onto the Poetry, Spoken Word scene early in 2015 and never looked back. He is considered a modern-day philosopher with views ranging from family life to societal norms. He has been published by the Poetry Institute of Canada for his award-winning poem, “Home”.  Virus the Poet has emphasized the importance of writing and the power words have. Due to his personal philosophies, Virus the Poet has pushed the boundaries of conventional poetry to inspire and empower today’s youth and listeners around the world.

Growing up in Toronto, Virus the Poet shares his stories through creative word play and storytelling narratives. He is an artist, writer, performer & motivational speaker. Virus the Poet has been an inspiration to many individuals who have heard his art. Unbeknownst to most, Virus the Poet has a B COMM. degree from Ryerson University. During his time as an undergrad, Virus the Poet discovered his talents as a writer and continued writing. It wasn’t until 2015, Virus the Poet decided to pursue a career in performing poetry fueled through countless recommendations that his work was uplifting and thought-provoking.

Realizing the power of social media and using his motivation, Virus the Poet utilized the power of the Internet to spread his work further reaching all ages and backgrounds through social media channels such as, Facebook, Twitter, Soundcloud, Instagram & YouTube. In 2019, Virus the Poet released his highly anticipated debut Album, entitled “Poetry is Motion: Mind, Body & Soul.” It’s clear to see why he is paving his way to continue inspiring globally.

In 2022, Virus the Poet plans to release Poetry IS Motion: Mind, Body & Soul. Be on the look out for all things Virus the Poet.
