Regarded as a contemporary philosopher, his insights span from family dynamics to challenging societal norms. The Poetry Institute of Canada recognized his prowess by publishing his award-winning piece, ‘Home’, cementing his status as a distinguished voice in the genre. Virus the Poet champions the potency of words, using them to push the boundaries of conventional poetry and ignite inspiration and empowerment in today’s global youth.

Hailing from Toronto, Virus the Poet weaves his narratives through inventive wordplay and storytelling. He wears multiple hats as an artist, writer, performer, and motivational speaker. Unbeknownst to many, he holds a B COMM. degree from Ryerson University, where his latent writing talents flourished. It wasn’t until 2015 that he decided to embark on a career in performing poetry, driven by overwhelming acclaim for his uplifting and thought-provoking work.

Recognizing the influence of social media, Virus the Poet harnessed the Internet’s potential to broaden his reach, connecting with audiences of all ages and backgrounds through platforms like Facebook, Twitter, SoundCloud, Instagram, and YouTube. In 2019, he unveiled his highly anticipated debut album, ‘Poetry is Motion: Mind, Body & Soul’, solidifying his position as a trailblazer in the field.
